Breakfast just got FUN! These Bread Egg Pops are crispy, cheesy, and loaded with colorful veggies — all stuffed into a golden bread frame and cooked on a stick like a savory popsicle!
Perfect for kids’ lunchboxes, weekend brunch, or a fun breakfast twist that’s ready in minutes. Easy, cheesy, and totally shareable!
FULL RECIPE:
Ingredients:
4 slices sandwich bread
4 eggs
1/4 cup diced bell peppers (red, green, yellow)
1/4 cup shredded cheese
2 tbsp milk
Salt & black pepper to taste
Popsicle sticks
Butter or oil, for cooking
Instructions:
Using a square cookie cutter, cut out the center of each bread slice, leaving a hollow frame (save the centers for another use).
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, diced bell peppers, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Heat a lightly greased griddle or pan over medium heat. Place the bread frames on the pan and insert a popsicle stick into the bottom edge of each.
Pour the egg mixture into the center of each bread frame, filling it evenly.
Cook for 2–3 minutes until the bottom is golden and the egg begins to set.
Carefully flip and cook the other side for another 2–3 minutes, until golden brown and the egg is fully cooked through.
Remove from heat and serve warm, holding by the stick!
Fun, cheesy, and veggie-packed — a breakfast the whole family will love.
